Commercial Building Maintenance Technician Job Description

We are on the hunt for a talented and reliable maintenance technician to join our maintenance department. In this position, your chief responsibility is to preserve the excellent condition and functionality of our customers commercial buildings.

Our ideal candidate will be a jack-of-all-trades, with in-depth knowledge of maintenance procedures and basic tools. To excel in this position, you must be an outstanding problem-solver with exceptional communication and organizational skills.

Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:

• Repairing faulty equipment units and damaged structures.
• Repairing plumbing fixtures and replacing water heaters.
• Performing general maintenance tasks including minor electrical, drywall repairs, painting, and carpentry.
• Updating and completing work orders as work is completed.
• Replace and repair building finishes such as ceiling tiles, door hardware, wall paper, and can paint walls, piping, floors           and equipment
• Possess competent knowledge of the use and care of tools and equipment used in facility and ground maintenance
• Respond immediately to emergency situations and customer service requests as assigned.
• Travel between Cincinnati and Columbus as well as surrounding cities to visit all properties that the company manages.
